Willa (Wiljane) Flynn
Willa moved to Phoenix, AZ immediately after graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Minor Concentration in French. After becoming a Highly Qualified Teacher in the State of Arizona, she went adventuring with her family, living in the Boston area and earning her TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification while living in Malta. She loves all academic areas, but poetry has a special place in her heart. She and her husband, Tim, adore their two children, Maren and Owen. Maren is a Villa graduate and attends Xavier College Prep. Owen is a current Villa student (6th grade). Tim runs his own web/graphic design business (www.timothyflynndesign.com).
Willa loves to read, go out to eat, explore, sing, and make terrible jokes. She is an expert in accents (hers all sound like variations of Pirate), mispronouncing words she reads aloud, finding her way back from the unknown, eating at new restaurants but ordering the same food, reading when she should be sleeping, and getting too competitive over board games.
